She holds degrees in Human Services and a Master's in Social Work. Barb uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, focusing on understanding the whole person and teaching coping skills.
Laura E. Porter, MA, LPC
Laura has extensive experience counseling children, parents, grandparents, and teachers. She helps with relationship issues, depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD, trauma, and domestic violence.
Katie Ranes, LMSW
Katie specializes in Memory Care, Traumatic Brain Injuries, addiction, probation support, and general life challenges for adults, with a background in Hospice settings.
Dave Embertson, LMSW, SSW
Dave has had a successful 37-year career in Social Work, spanning private practice, schools, and state agencies. He specializes in working with children (ages 6-17) and adolescents, with a strong belief in the "power of family" and the importance of healthy parenting. His expertise includes individual, group, and family counseling, with training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Dave also works with issues like problematic behaviors, parent-child relationships, divorce, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and supports men navigating challenges in marriage, family, and culture.
Lisa Holmes, LPC
Lisa has 13 years of experience, specializing in working with children, adolescents, young adults, families, women, and seniors. She focuses on trauma, anxiety, depression, psychodynamic therapy, psychoeducation, family systems, CBT, strength-based approaches, coping skills, stress management, self-awareness, reflection and DBT-focused strategies.
