Counselor - Full Time

We are seeking full or part-time therapists to join our growing counseling team in our Cadillac office, with the opportunity for additional online telehealth services. FSS is looking for individuals with a passion for helping others, who wish to be a part of a dynamic team, have good problem solving skills and great interpersonal skills. Having an open schedule/flexibility is important.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in LMSW, LLMSW, LPC or other similar degree

  • Completing clearances of criminal background checks, Central Registry clearance, driving record check, drug screen and legal to work in the United States.

  • Able to maintain a supportive, appropriate working relationship with clients, adhering to confidentiality expectations by the state of Michigan.

  • Participation in required trainings, staff meetings

  • Provide and implement strength-based, evidence-based therapeutic practices with clients

  • Excellent written, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills

Parenting Time & Family Support Specialist - Full Time

We are seeking full and part time professionals for this position. The specialist will provide parenting time between parents and their children 10-40 hours each week. During this parenting time the Case Worker shall provide hands on modeling and basic techniques all covered within the training process. Aspects of the job will include: coordinating visits, use of workers personal vehicle and access to smart phone technology. An ability to learn the documentation process for required reports, case notes and time management. A flexible schedule based on the families’ needs is a must with primarily second shift and weekend hours required.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Completing clearances of criminal background checks, Central Registry clearance, driving record check, drug screen and legal to work in the United States.

  • Use of personal vehicle with proof of appropriate insurance required.

  • Maintain a cell phone and be accessible to clients outside of visitation times as needed. (Apps are used to ensure your personal number remains confidential.)

  • Degree is not always required.
